Our Mission
To build software trade contractors love to use and a company people love to work for.

Our Story
DADO was founded by and for construction professionals. Our team built DADO in Stanley Black and Decker’s StanleyX incubator, launching the company in 2018. After hundreds of hours of interviews and jobsite visits with MEP contractors, the DADO team learned that there was one problem impacting construction project productivity more than anything else: fast, reliable, and efficient document access. Office teams often had access to tools and documentation that the field didn’t, creating a digital divide on the site. DADO was created to end the digital divide between project teams in the office and field and give everyone the same fast, reliable access to project documents across any platform.

Our Difference
Our team comes from the industry. We have former structural engineers, PMs, BIM Managers and contech professionals and we know and love construction. Our team builds with, not for, the industry. We partner with our customers to learn how DADO is working well, and how we can make it even better.
The DADO team will never tell contractors how to build, or force proprietary file types and complicated processes on our users. We’re committed to a high standard of service, and that means listening and deeply understanding your company and your goals so we can help you digitize, grow and sustain your business for years to come.
Our Community
We partner with innovative trade contractors, and we’re members of the industry’s leading trade associations including SMACNA, the MCAA Manufacturers and Suppliers Council (M/SC), the NECA Industry Alliance Network, and the Construction Progress Coalition (CPC). We’re also proud of our local partnerships across the country with WACA, NorCal NECA, CPMCA, and the Houston MCA.
Being active members of the construction community is an important part of DADO’s mission. We value these opportunities to connect and learn with our friends and colleagues so we can keep making the industry better together.
